These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Scoop This (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By requesting, scheduling, purchasing, or receiving services from Scoop This, you agree to these terms.
Services
Scoop This provides residential pet waste removal and related yard services. Service frequency, pricing, and any add-on services will be based on the service plan or quote provided to the customer.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service when conditions are unsafe, inaccessible, or otherwise unsuitable for service.
Scheduling & Recurring Service
Recurring services are performed according to the frequency selected by the customer.
Service days or arrival times may occasionally change due to weather, holidays, scheduling needs, traffic, or other circumstances.
Unless a specific arrival time has been agreed upon, service times are not guaranteed.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Customers should provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling a scheduled service.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a missed-service charge.
Recurring customers may cancel future recurring service at any time before their next scheduled visit.
If Scoop This must cancel or reschedule service, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer.
Property Access
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the service area on the scheduled service day.
Gates must be unlocked or any necessary access instructions must be provided before service.
If we are unable to access the yard or service area, the visit may be considered a missed service and may still be subject to a service charge.
Pets
For the safety of our staff and your pets, dogs and other animals must be kept indoors or safely separated from the service area during service unless otherwise agreed.
Scoop This may refuse or stop service if an animal displays aggressive, threatening, or unsafe behavior.
Yard Conditions & Hazards
Customers are responsible for maintaining a reasonably safe service area.
Please notify Scoop This of any known hazards, including but not limited to:

Holes or uneven ground

Broken fencing
-
Sharp objects
-
Pest or wildlife concerns
-
Construction materials
-
Hazardous chemicals
-
Sprinklers or irrigation systems

Any other condition that may create a safety risk
Scoop This is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions or hazards that were not reasonably visible during service.
Initial & Excessive Cleanups
Initial cleanups and properties with significant pet waste accumulation may require additional time and may be priced differently from recurring service.
Any additional charge will be communicated to the customer when reasonably possible.
Waste Disposal
Collected pet waste will be securely bagged and placed in the customer’s outdoor trash bin unless another arrangement has been agreed upon in advance.
Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to an outdoor trash receptacle.
Weather
Service may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled due to severe weather or unsafe yard conditions, including heavy rain, snow, ice, extreme temperatures, flooding, or other conditions that make service unsafe or impractical.
Weather-related schedule changes will not be considered a breach of service.
Payments
Payment is due according to the pricing and billing arrangement agreed upon when service is scheduled.
Recurring customers may be billed automatically through our payment processor.
Scoop This may suspend or discontinue service for unpaid or failed payments.
Applicable fees or taxes may be added where required.
Payment Processing
Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Square.
By providing payment information to a third-party processor, you also agree to that provider’s applicable terms and policies.
Pricing
Prices may vary based on factors such as:

Yard size

Number of dogs

Service frequency
-
Amount of accumulated waste

Property access

Requested add-on services
Scoop This may update pricing from time to time. Existing recurring customers will be notified before material pricing changes take effect.
Service Results
We aim to thoroughly remove visible pet waste from accessible areas of the yard.
However, complete removal cannot be guaranteed when waste is hidden by tall grass, leaves, snow, debris, landscaping, or other obstructions.
Customer Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their property, pets, service needs, and access requirements.
Incorrect or incomplete information may affect pricing or our ability to complete service.
Damage & Liability
Scoop This will exercise reasonable care while performing services.
To the extent permitted by law, Scoop This is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing property conditions, concealed hazards, unsecured pets, customer negligence, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
Ending Service
Either the customer or Scoop This may end recurring service.
Scoop This may immediately suspend or terminate service for safety concerns, aggressive animals, repeated inability to access the property, nonpayment, abusive behavior, or other serious service issues.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The most current version will be posted on our website with the updated effective date.
